EU Regulation 2023/2055 has introduced concrete obligations and tight deadlines for manufacturers and formulators in the cosmetics industry. Identifying synthetic polymer microparticles (SPM), correctly applying derogations, managing the annual reporting to ECHA: each step requires specific technical expertise and a clear understanding of the regulatory framework.
This course provides an in-depth look at operational stages of the compliance process — from INCI analysis to dossier compilation in IUCLID 6, through to submission via REACH-IT — with a practical focus on the most common scenarios and critical issues companies face on the ground.
For the first time, the programme brings together regulatory and analytical expertise: alongside our Regulatory Affairs specialists, a cosmetic chemist will address the analytical dimension of SPM identification — covering the most suitable methods for different cosmetic matrices and how to organise and communicate data in a clear, regulation-compliant way.
