Identifying microplastics in cosmetic products remains challenging: a simple review of the INCI is often insufficient, and fully standardized analytical methods are still evolving.
In this updated webinar, we will examine practical criteria to recognize intentionally added microplastics in cosmetic formulations, discuss the most suitable analytical approaches for different cosmetic matrices, and address how to organize and communicate the collected data in a clear and compliant way for both regulatory authorities and consumers, in line with current regulatory expectations, including Regulation (EU) 2023/2055.
