“Faced with the need of the cosmetics industry to have scientific tools to support the claims of its products, Complife is proposing new instrumental techniques. Concepts such as biodegradability, environmental impact, mechanisms of action, molecular identification/quantification are now possible. Artificial intelligence and biostatistics have also been included to reinforce this army of new techniques, continuously strengthening the scientific base that has characterized the sector. The skin becomes the body/environment interface, and in it can be found the reflection of the internal and external. We are entering the generation phase of dermal biomarkers, which will be useful to the Life Sciences sector, which includes cosmetics, but also nutritional supplements, medical devices and even medicines.”
